  • Dr. Lacy’s main clinical and research interest is in assessing the neurocognitive aspects (i.e., memory, attention, problem solving, & language) of neurologic, psychiatric and medical conditions.
    • Degenerative dementias: Alzheimer, Parkinson, MSA, Frontal Temporal Dementia, & Primary
    • Progressive Aphasia
    • Epilepsy (pre and post resection) with WADAs evaluations
    • Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (pre and post drain trials and shunt evaluations)
    • Stroke & other Cerebral Vascular Disorders (i.e., CADASIL)
    • Psychiatric Disorders: Attention Deficit Disorders; Learning Disabilities, & Depression
    • Oncology: Brain Tumors & Breast Cancer (with Chemotherapy related issues)
    • Traumatic Brain Injury & Concussion
    • Autoimmune Diseases: Lupus, Graves, MS

Research Interests

  • Dr. Lacy’s primary research focus in on understanding and treating the acute and longstanding cognitive deficits related to increased intracranial pressure (i.e., hydrocephalus).
